Solo Stove Grill Is A Popular Science 2020 Best of What’s New Award Winner

We are honored to share that the Solo Stove Grill is a 2020 Popular Science Best of What’s New Award winner in the home category! Each year, Popular Science reviews thousands of new products and innovations and chooses the top 100 winners across 10 categories. To win, a product or technology must represent a significant step forward in its category.

The Solo Stove Grill is the result of two years of testing to solve the need for a charcoal grill that is both efficient and easy enough for anyone to use. We took the challenge head-on to address common issues with charcoal grilling, such as long heat-up times, a messy, intimidating experience, and the need to have lots of grilling experience to make good food. Our Signature 360° Airflow Design™ creates the perfect cooking fire every time without the hassle, and the option of using Short Stand allows you to turn your outdoor cookouts into fun, interactive grilling experiences. This award solidifies our achievements with Grill and our commitment to “Grilling, Reinvented together.”

Solo Stove Grill Wins a Popular Science 2020 Best of What’s New Award

SOUTHLAKE, Texas (December 8, 2020) – Solo Stove, designers of simple, ingenious solutions to make life easier, is proud to announce that its newest product, the Solo Stove Grill, has been recognized as a winner of Popular Science’s 2020 Best of What’s New Awards. “We’re honored to receive this award alongside so many impressive innovators,” said John Merris, CEO of Solo Stove. “With the Grill, we have not only have made charcoal grilling faster, simpler and cleaner – we’ve made it easier for families to come together and create lasting memories around a cooking experience. We’re thrilled to be recognized with a Best of What’s New Award.”

The Solo Stove Grill provides an optimized experience from assembly to clean-up, with a simple set-up that allows users to begin grilling within a matter of minutes.  The grill incorporates the same engineering principles as all of Solo Stove’s camp stoves and fire pits, with a double-wall design and unique air flow vents that significantly improve performance.
